My novels range across genres, with some crossovers in the mix. There is near- and far-future science fiction, often with a touch of fantasy and speculation about the nature of reality, the mind, consciousness, love and human connection.

If want to know why, treat yourself to Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism, a 2025 memoir by Sarah Wynn-Williams, a New Zealander and former employee of Facebook. Mind you, I nuked my FB account almost ten years ago now. Means I lost a major platform for promoting my freelance photography work, as well as my visibility as an author. I also recommend Men Who Hate Women and The New Sexism, both by Laura Bates. Plus, there’s an overwhelming torrent of evidence that social media have long become a pestilence on the worlds of human minds. Add to that its 2020s cousin, incorrectly named ‘Artificial Intelligence’…
What did I gain by ditching social media? Privacy first of all; a commodity becoming more precious every day. Maybe even more importantly: time, which I invest in creative activities and doing what I used to spend precious time on before Facebook.
Bottom line: this space, next to whatever comparatively brief information is available on the sites of the publishers who carry my books through the Draft2Digital distribution network—see the relevant Universal Book Links on each book’s page—is the only source of information about my publications.
