Liz and Nick had been friends for as long as Liz could remember. Through thick and thin, through tragedy and joy. Still, they didn’t take it any further, despite the tension that always existed between them. When Nick disappeared after Liz's engagement to Colin, it left a gaping hole in her life; and when he suddenly appears out of nowhere on that lonely road, it opens up a Pandora's box of old emotions. And this time they aren't going to be suppressed.
But actions have consequences. Colin's father has some interesting ideas about what to do to the woman who jilted his son and her lover. Bad for social standing and bad for business. Best to get rid of Liz and her lover forever, preferably professionally and without a fuss.
